Students

Our student body is comprised of a diverse group of highly engaged learners who thrive in a project-based learning environment. Students who attend our free, rigorous, public charter school are committed to gaining the academic knowledge and 21^st century skills to enable them to attend and graduate from a competitive four-year college.

Information and perspective about our student body:

Students are career-focused, with plans to become doctors, lawyers, engineers, scientists, entrepreneurs, and civic and business leaders.

Students engage in numerous school-sponsored sports and extracurricular activities, including competitive sports teams and before and after-school student clubs, such as music, yearbook, advanced computer courses, community service, community garden, and much more!

Students take responsibility for their learning and development, including student-led parent-teacher conferences and creation of new school clubs, events, and activities.

Though Venture Prep students live throughout Denver and surrounding areas, nearly half come from the school’s home zip code.
